A broiler feed calculator is a tool that is used to calculate the amount of feed that is required for a particular number of broilers. This information is important for broiler farmers in order to make sure that they are not overfeeding or underfeeding their birds, which can impact their health and performance.
In broiler farming or production, feed and feeding are very important because they determine how well your broiler chickens will perform. One problem of some broiler chicken farmers is that they find it difficult to determine the quantity of feed required to raise broilers from day-old chicks to 6 weeks. Additionally, some farmers don’t know the cost of feeding a particular number of broilers to maturity.
These are the reasons why I came up with this simple Online Broiler Feed Calculator. You don’t need to do anything other than key in the number of broilers you intend to raise and the current prices of feed. Then click CALCULATE. Other things will be done for you automatically by the Broiler Feed Calculator.

Please how can I get this feed calculator app.
It is an online tool. Just input the number of chicks only.
Hello, I want to venture into broiler business but your feed calculator is not applicable to broilers that weighs 4.5 to 6kg. I live in Southern part of Nigeria. 8-9 weeks broilers weighing between 1.8 to 3kg is not marketable.
Kindly help with a broiler feed calculator to attain an average of 5kg live weight.
Thanks in anticipation of your response.
Ok. I will work on this. Thanks for commenting!
You are still working on it since DEC 19 2019 my brother Akinbobola
While I see this comment to be rude to me, I’ve decided not to work on it anymore. The standard duration for keeping broilers is 8 weeks. So anyone who intends to keep longer should multiply the quantity of feed consumed in the 8th week with the additional weeks he/she intends to keep the birds for.
My brother Akinbobola, l never meant to be rude to you, l am sorry.
However, you have graciously answered the question.
Please pardon me for my harmless comment which you termed rude.
From Engr Dr Anthony Dickson Ojih
Believing that you have forgiven me, let’s move forward.
Can l adopt feeding the broiler chicks with only starter mash and finisher mash, eliminating grower, though the cost deferential is not much, positive on the side of omitting grower mash any way ?
Yes, you can ????
It’s alright sir. Actually, it’s not easy to update this site as well as write posts. No one pays me for all these and anything I do on this blog, I do them in my spare times. Since December 19 sounds somehow to me. Like I’m so lazy to do what I said I will do. Nevertheless, thanks for your comments sir. At least I’m happy someone is out there reading my posts.
Hello my Brother.
How many weeks did you calculate?

Hi Faith. I accept to be your mentor. Thanks
Good day Mr Akinbobola A., 42 days rearing period and a target of 3kg live weight, how can one adjust the calculator to solve this?

Do you have this calculator so that I can use Canadian dollars?
The currency is not important. Just input the price in Canadian dollar
Am requesting you to help me on broiler feed conversion ratio and daily weight gain
Hello Mr Akinbobola,
What are the advantages and disadvantages of omitting the Grower feed from the
Broiler feeding program.
The omission seem to be the norm these days and many farmers have completely excluded it from their Broiler feeding program, claiming the grower feed is for pullets not broilers.
What is your comment or advise in this regard?
Go brother Akinbobola. Good job. You have actually provided the basics and anyone who passed their elementary math classes should be able to replicate the results of the calculator given the vakues of independent variables
Hi..i wanted to ask on the consumption of 1 chick per day if 150 chicks in ten days can consume 1.5bags of 25kg . Is this oky?
May God continue to increase u in all ramifications.
Is it possible to include the vaccines, supplements and the ideal preventive drugs in this calculator
Good day sir, what is maximum expected protein in laying birds.
Good evening, bro what if I don’t want to use grower to feed my broilers and I just want to use professional starter and finisher only ????
Just replace the grower feed with the finisher.
